L'alcalde de Sant Vicenç de Montalt, Miquel Àngel Martínez i Camarasa, ha estat reelegit president del Consell Comarcal del Maresme amb els 24 vots de CiU, ERC i PSC. Les tres forces polítiques han signat un pacte de govern que els permetrà dirigir el CCM durant els propers 4 anys. En el Ple de Constitució celebrat el divendres passat dia 24 de juliol van prendre possessió de l'acta de conseller/a els 33 membres de la Corporació designats per les forces polítiques que, a partir dels resultats de les passades eleccions municipals, han obtingut representació comarcal.
A finals d’aquesta setmana és previst que se celebri el Ple d'Organització en el qual s'aprovarà el Cartipàs comarcal.
Les representants de Vilassar de Mar al Ple del Consell Comarcal del Maresme pel mandat 2015-2019 seran les regidores de l’Ajuntament de Vilassar de Mar Alícia Rodríguez Luna del Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya(PSC) i Laura Martínez Portell de Convergència i Unió (CiU).
